Gilbert Winfield is the founder. He has worked in wine in France, Italy, South Africa and England, over a period of twenty years. He holds the Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, for whom he is a Certified Educator. He is a member of the Association of Wine Educators, an Associate Member of the Institute of Wines and Spirits (AIWS), and a Member of the Circle of Wine Writers. He is also a judge on the International Wine Challenge, one of the UK's top wine competitions.
